Sherry Hall says, "My approach to interior design is to provide my clients with a trust- based, fun, creative design experience while respecting their financial concerns." Sherry believes that before any new selections are brought into consideration the critical question of what stays and what goes in a client’s home needs to be addressed. Often clients have wonderful things throughout their homes that are not being featured to their best advantage. Sherry calls this process "shopping at the clients". When suitable these "finds" can be tweaked to add continuity and history to a client's design story. It's a thrill to work a favorite, sentimental piece from the client's possessions into the new, exciting plan.

Sherry prides herself in truly listening to her client’s wants and needs, and enjoys the exchange of ideas that occurs with her clients in the initial meeting. Clients soon quote a humorous phrase that Sherry uses. "In the babble is the plan". Simply put, when Sherry draws a client out to describe and express the vision they have for the design project, it doesn’t take long for a plan to emerge. The connection and exchange of ideas ignites a spark that moves the design dream to a reality.

A good design plan, no matter what style, has a solid foundation. Sherry Hall Interiors believes that "trendy" and "cutting edge" design have a valuable place in interior design, but providing a place that meets the aesthetics and functions of the people living there is essential. Clients can be assured that their homes will be more than just tableaus of the "next big thing". There are ways that "trendy" can be brought into any décor that allows editing out when those trends become passé without a costly makeover. When the design foundation is strong and relevant, the secondary elements can change out from time to time to keep the look fresh.
